Shipping Policies and Information


ORDERS UNDER $99 ONLY $15 TO SHIP!

All orders under $99 require a $15 Shipping and Handling Fee. All orders that exceed $99 are eligible for free shipping. Free shipping applies to ground shipments only. Oftentimes we will have special promotions where we offer free shipping regardless of your total purchase. When this is the case you will see a FREE SHIPPING coupon on the product page of the product you are considering.


The $99 total is made up of the subtotal of products in your cart for the regular price of the item. If you are part of our SPECIAL BUYER PROGRAM the total in your cart is made up of the price before the discounted price. Yet another advantage to signing up!


Styles of Lighting cannot be held responsible for missing deliveries once the carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc…) indicates that the shipment has been delivered. If this occurs, please first check with neighbors and around your home. Then contact the carrier to file a claim. If a package is missing, it must be reported within 6 days of the indicated delivery date.


Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska

Free Shipping is limited to the Continental United States, however, we will ship to Hawaii and Alaska. Orders that ship to HI/AK will have a destination surcharge of $150.00 which will be calculated and displayed during the ordering process.


Truck Shipments

Some items on our website are too large to be shipped through couriers like FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc… In this case, these items will be shipped via LTL Freight; otherwise known as “Truck” on our website. Some items have a Freight and Handling fee that will apply in the cart before checkout. Additionally, larger orders, especially from a single supplier, may also be shipped via Truck. We do not always know when an order will ship via Truck (as it is at the discretion of each individual supplier) but we make every effort to notify you as soon as we are informed by the supplier. All Truck deliveries require a delivery appointment that will be scheduled by the specific carrier once the items arrive at the local terminal. All Truck deliveries are delivered to the curbside only. Truck orders typically take 2 - 3 weeks for delivery - while this timeframe is a general guideline and not a guarantee, we do work directly with the suppliers and carriers to process your order with punctuality. An address change cannot be made on an order that has shipped LTL Freight.


Back Ordered Merchandise

In the unlikely event an item happens to be out of stock, the lead-time to receive an item is usually 2 to 3 weeks. If there is a particularly long backorder on an item, we will notify the customer as soon as this information becomes available to us. Our estimated ship time of two to three weeks is not a guaranteed estimate but is the industry average for shipment turnaround times.


Order Confirmation

Email confirmation numbers are sent out after orders are placed. Please retain this confirmation number for your records.


Address Corrections

We are not responsible for any delays or additional shipping charges incurred due to change in delivery address or inaccurate delivery address information provided at the time the order is placed. You are responsible for providing accurate delivery address information. Our orders are sent directly to each supplier's shipping department in an effort to provide quick and efficient delivery service. We can request an address correction, but we cannot guarantee a successful outcome. If we are able to successfully make an address change, there will be a $30.00 fee per package. An address change cannot be made on an order that has shipped LTL Freight. We will not be liable for lost products that were shipped to the original address provided.

CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations can only be requested via phone at 888-308-4353. We make cancellation requests on a best efforts basis with the Suppliers. If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us as quickly as possible so that we may attempt to stop your order. Our orders are sent directly to each supplier's shipping department in an effort to provide quick and efficient delivery service. As a result, we are not always able to cancel an order and/or stop the item before it leaves the warehouse. We can request a cancellation, but we cannot guarantee a successful outcome. If an order is too far in the shipping process to be stopped, you will be able to return the order in accordance with our regular return policy. Please note that cancellation requests cannot be processed outside of our normal business hours.
